The Ferrara is a saddle shoe, the design that has defined the golf shoe since the 1920s: a contrasting panel of leather across the instep over a white body, with broguing along the seams.
This version comes in black & white, the two-tone combination that gives the shoe its character; pick up one of the colours in your belt or cap and the look is complete. A spiked sole with replaceable soft spikes gives the most grip on wet or hilly courses (a set of spikes and a wrench are included). All our shoes have a waterproof breathable membrane inserted between the leather upper and the leather lining (one year waterproof normal use guarantee). This is from the beginning the best fit, but the others were my own fault: wrong size, so some blisters in the beginning.
After a while the leather becomes very supple and they feel as if you wear house shoes.
Be aware that the shoes are handmade and so the leather is very stiff in the beginning.
