Una scarpa da golf in pelle \u00e8 uno dei pochi elementi dell'attrezzatura da golf che migliora con il tempo, ma solo se viene curata. La routine richiede cinque minuti dopo un giro e dieci minuti al mese, ed \u00e8 la differenza tra un paio che dura due stagioni e uno che ne dura dieci. Ecco la routine completa, passo dopo passo.<\/p>\n

Dopo ogni giro: cinque minuti<\/h2>\n

Spazzola via fango ed erba finch\u00e9 sono ancora morbidi.<\/strong> Il fango secco sottrae umidit\u00e0 alla pelle e lascia aloni. Bastano una spazzola rigida e un panno umido.<\/p>\n

Pulisci la suola e controlla i chiodi.<\/strong> Sulle scarpe con chiodi, libera gli alloggiamenti da erba e sabbia; su quelle senza chiodi, spazzola i tasselli.<\/p>\n

Asciugale lentamente.<\/strong> Allenta i lacci, tira in avanti la linguetta, inserisci i tendiscarpe (di cedro se li hai, altrimenti carta di giornale) e lasciale a temperatura ambiente. Mai sul termosifone, mai in un'auto calda. Il calore screpola la pelle e indebolisce l'unione tra suola e tomaia.<\/p>\n

Ogni qualche giro: nutri la pelle<\/h2>\n

Quando le scarpe sono pulite e asciutte, stendi una piccola quantit\u00e0 di crema per pelle sulla tomaia con un panno morbido, lasciala assorbire e lucida. Usa una crema neutra sulle scarpe bianche e bicolore, e una crema dello stesso colore sul marroni<\/a> e sul nero. Cos\u00ec la pelle resta morbida e la finitura idrorepellente continua a funzionare; la pelle Lambda viene trattata durante la concia per respingere l'acqua, e la crema mantiene questa finitura invece di sostituirla.<\/p>\n

Scarpe bianche<\/h2>\n

Il bianco chiede qualcosa in pi\u00f9: elimina le macchie d'erba il giorno stesso con un panno umido e una goccia di sapone delicato, asciuga, poi applica una crema bianca o una neutra ben lucidata. Evita la candeggina e le spugne “magiche”, che rovinano la finitura.<\/p>\n

Chiodi<\/h2>\n

Controlla i chiodi morbidi una volta al mese durante la stagione. Sostituisci quelli consumati, crepati o mancanti; un set completo costa poco, e le scarpe Lambda con chiodi come la Roma vengono fornite con un set di chiodi e una chiave. I chiodi consumati ti fanno scivolare, e scivolare sollecita la tomaia.<\/p>\n

Conservazione<\/h2>\n

Con i tendiscarpe, lacci allentati, in un luogo asciutto e arieggiato. Non nella sacca da golf, non in una scatola chiusa se sono umide. Se le riponi per l'inverno, prima puliscile e nutrile.<\/p>\n

Cosa non fare<\/h2>\n

Non lavare in lavatrice le scarpe da golf in pelle. Non usare il calore per asciugarle. Non usare solventi o detergenti per la casa sulla tomaia. Non lasciare le scarpe bagnate in auto. Ognuna di queste \u00e8 un modo comune in cui un buon paio finisce la sua vita prima del tempo.<\/p>\n

Impermeabilit\u00e0<\/h2>\n

Ogni scarpa Lambda ha una membrana impermeabile e traspirante tra la tomaia e la fodera, garantita per un anno di normale utilizzo, e pelle trattata per respingere l'acqua. Non serve impermeabilizzarle di nuovo con gli spray: \u00e8 mantenere la pelle pulita e nutrita a preservare la barriera.
